The young American countertenor Bejun Mehta, a relative of famed conductor Zubin Mehta, will perform today at the Chamber Hall of the Kursaal in San Sebastian, in the 70th Musical Fortnight. In its proposed action to the public a journey through time, because the program will be presented covering a wide range of musical styles.

Mehta has sung at the Royal Opera House in London, Bayerische Staatsoper, Palau de Valencia, Netherlands Opera, the New York Metropolitan Opera, Glyndebourne and Salzburg festivals, Théâtre du Châtelet, Santa Fe Opera, Teatro de la Monnaie, Pittsburgh Opera , Staatsoper Berlin, Aix-en-Provence, Innsbruck, Paris National Opera, Opera San Francisco and Los Angeles Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, among others.

Meanwhile, Julius Drake, is a specialist in chamber music, accompanying various vocal and instrumental soloists both live and in studio. His recent performances have taken him to festivals in Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, Munich, Salzburg and Tanglewood Schubertiada and venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Châtelet, Louvre in Paris, Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna , and Wigmore Hall and BBC Proms in London.
